1984 CADILLAC “Return of the Ragtop”
After a long absence you could get a Cadillac with a Ragtop as Cadillac started to make this available again on 1984 models. This was also the first year that you could get fuel injection for that great power feel.

1985 CADILLAC …MOVING TO THE FRONT

A new marketing campaign and the new model the Cadillac Allante was the big splash in 1987 for Cadillac. The Allante was actually made outside of the USA and shipped here to be assembled.

THE 1988 CADILLAC…A DOWNWARD SWING
As sales went down a bit Cadillac made some changes which most owners loved as the new 4.5 V-8 Engine gave them more power than in previous years. It also marked the end of the Cimarron as Cadillac went for style and distinction and it paid off.
