2005 Cadillac STS

The 2005 Cadillac STS is quite a car! The STS comes with either a V6 or a V8. The V6 produces 225 horsepower and claims to go from 0 to 60 in 6.6 seconds.

We got to see the new Cadillac STS V8 and wow were we impressed. The STS featured a huge V8 which had 320 horsepower a 4.6 L in size. The car really had some power as we went 0 to 60 in six seconds.

Cadillac STS Features

A new feature on the Cadillac STS V8 is the headlights. These "Smart Headlights" called Intellibeam adjust automatically in response to the oncoming cars or to the taillights of the car in front of you as you drive. We Loved the Features of the Cadillac STS.

• Remote Start  Remote start is nothing new but the new adaptive remote start can also turn on the heat settings for inside the car. What a great feature to have in your Cadillac and it will work from up to 200 feet away.
• Keyless Entry The keyless entry unlocks the doors and even the trunk.
• All Wheel Drive The all wheel drive is a great feature on the STS it makes it driving so much better. It seems to improve the handling of the STS as well as making acceleration smooth.
• Leather Seats The Tuscany leather seats are some of the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in. More proof that this Cadillac is made for comfort.
• Parking Assistant  The new parking assistant is a great feature for anyone that is tired of getting your Cadillac  scratched while parking it.

Parking Assistant works when the Cadillac STS is being parked when moving less than 3 mph. It works off  beams of sound to detect  the presence of the objects that are behind you. This saves you from hitting other cars or objects while parking. What I like about it is it will save me from having to repair my garage every time my wife uses the Cadillac

Of course the new Cadillac STS comes with ONSTAR directions and connections as part of its standard service. Onstar  automatically calls for help when the airbag is deployed.
