When I write these updates I always have to keep aware that we have many readers with many different agendas. Some like to see vintage Cadillac’s and some are signed up because they just bought the latest Cadillac. I try to give everyone what they want. With that said lets get see what is happening this week.
The new Cadillac’s are a hit. When I first heard about the new Cadillac CTS sport wagon the first thing that came to my mind is “WHY” but after seeing all the reports I can understand why. Families have to adjust their driving needs and these new Cadillac’s are perfect for the dad who wants some power in his car and the mom who needs the family car to be practical for the family. Our friend Bruce Nunnally of Caddyinfo.com and Jane Devin have a great piece on the Cadillac XTS Platinum concept. They interview Interior Designer Christine Park who explains all about the features of this beauty. I love the built in DVD players in the rear seats. You can see more here Caddyinfo.com Cadillac XTS Platinum
With everyone talking about plug-in hybrids it doesn’t surprise me that one would be a Cadillac. I think it’s only a matter of time before we are seeing these on the street. Cadillac plug in hybrids
Here are something for fans of 1978 Cadillac’s This is a nice piece on a 1978 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Classic Coupe. There are many pictures of this beauty of a car. 1978 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Classic
I ran across some cool pictures of a 1955 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible on Flickr. I have to warn you that once you go to Flickr and look at the pictures you could be there for hours. Have fun! 1955 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible

Lots of Cadillac’s in the news this week as Tiger Woods crashed his Escalade. I know by now you are tired of hearing about Tiger Woods lately but I am wondering how his Cadillac Escalade got so much damage from only hitting a tree and a fire hydrant. The thing looks like it was doing 500 mph when it crashed.

This week Cadillac brought out their new line at the LA Auto show. The CTS coupe is getting some talk as well as the Converj. You can read more here. Cadillac at the LA Auto Show.
Here is a cool looking Cadillac. It is a CTS BatMobile, I got a kick out of it. It is not something you see everyday that’s for sure. You can see it here.Cadillac BatMobile.

In case you haven’t heard “our” website recently received a link back from the Cadillac website. They placed us in the Enthusiast section on their website. This is a great honor for us and shows that helping people find parts over the years has paid off. You can see our link Here. We are glad to be part of the Cadillac site in our own small way.
We have been getting a lot of questions lately about new Cadillac’s. Primarily we focused on Vintage and Classic Cadillac’s so I went and found a great site that has all the information one would need to know when doing their research. Cadillac Buying Guide is one great site, full of information. If you are looking to buy a new Cadillac I would bookmark the site as a favorite.
Over on CaddyChat.com we have been getting a lot of questions with starting problems. It is something that has happened to all of us, if you can help out and answer a few questions that would be great. You can also place pictures up there of your Cadillac.
If you would like to have your Cadillac featured on our site just drop me an email and we can make that happen. Vinny(at)cadillaccountryclub.com

I finally made it to the New York auto show and got a chance to see all the new Cadillac’s that were there. Although I am not a fan of the latest SRX style cars that are coming out I was amazed at one car at the show and that was the Cadillac Converj.
This car has some of the sleekest lines I have ever saw on a car and the features that were shown to us were amazing to say the least. I was over taking pictures of the Escalade hybrid when the spokesperson started the presentation near the Converj and it was crazy to say the least. It was like a tidal wave of people making there way over to the car.
You can see many more pictures over on the site. I made a dedicated page just for the Converj.
For the vintage fans of Cadillac I need a little help finding a part. I have an email from Bill Gross who is looking to find a rear center windshield for his 1950 series 61 4 dr sedan. If you can be of any help send me an email or post it in the comments section below and I will send Bill the information it is much appreciated.
