This past year at the New York Auto show they had a 1956 Cadillac covered in art that to be honest was one of the worst responses to any Cadillac I ever posted on the site. The post didn’t get as much traction as usual and the amount of email I received was by far the most negative ever. In a way I was expecting it based on our membership.
At the time the guy told me that the car was sold but he wouldn’t disclose a price. Guess what we will see exactly what the car is worth as it is being auctioned off. It has 8 days left and it will be interesting to see what it sells for. Maybe someone here be the new owner of a 1956 Cadillac DeVille SEDAN DEVILLE.
My guess is that it doesn’t hit the reserve. I say it gets to about 15k. What do you think? Put your final price in the comments.

I wouldn’t bid either but since this is just a wrap you can take it off and get a decent paint job for a few thousand and you would have a 17k 1956 Cadillac. That is how I came up with the 15k valuation. It is after all a 1956 Cadillac.

My bid for the 56 Caddy would be 10,000 ,as that wrap removal and paint is a liability.
I inspected the Cadillac up close and it was very clean. I am not sure how easy it would be to take the wrap off and put it in the garbage but I am sure it could be done.
I am not sure if they modified the interior at all. I know the other Cadillac that was there they did.
Is my price of 2k for paint on the low side?
