New Cadillac Country Club T Shirts

By Vinny O'Hare Leave a Comment

Last year we got shirts and they were a huge success. I just heard from the guy that designed them that he changed up and made new t shirts and the best part is you can get them right from Amazon. Needless to say this makes my job a lot easier. The club gets a few dollars off each shirt sold.

Cadillac Club December Update

By Vinny O'Hare 5 Comments

I know it has been a while since our last update and I am sorry. Between updating the software, returning to Phoenix, and keeping up with my other websites it has been a struggle. I promise I will get back to a regular email schedule soon.

Our club has seen a recent uptick in members signing up. That is encouraging since we had been on a slight decline of late with older members passing away. Getting emails from their loved ones telling me to stop sending emails because the member has passed away is always tough. Sometimes it is strange that it is usually someone that doesn’t email me or leave comments they just like reading the site. I can’t tell you how many times I deleted someones email that has been with the group since near the beginning but had no interaction with me.

We now have t-shirts for the club. I am not sure why I didn’t have these made years ago but like they say better late than never. I was doing some work on a website for a t shirt company and they asked me if I needed t shirts for one of my sites and I had them make me up these.

I have to set up a shopping cart, which will be the next email but I wanted to give you a sneak preview. The front of the shirts are the same but when it comes to the back you have 2 choices. You can get one with a red Cadillac or a blue Cadillac. Our sizes are Medium, Large, XL, and I do have a limited amount of 2xl. I have to figure out shipping and stuff especially for international members. The cost will be around $20. You will have more info in the next newsletter. Chrysler 300 to a Cadillac

By Vinny O'Hare 3 Comments

Guest Post by Wendy C.

Buying a car is an expensive prospect, but nothing beats the feeling of driving a new vehicle off the lot. Unfortunately, if you want to make sure that you drive off in a car, truck, or SUV that will serve you well for years to come, you’re going to have to do some research first.

Recently, I began evaluating the Chrysler 300 as it compares to a Cadillac CTS. They have similar body styles and seating arrangements, and I have had positive experiences with both manufacturers since I started driving many years ago. After browsing around online for a bit, I decided it was time to visit a St. Louis Chrysler dealer and also check out a local Cadillac dealer so that I could test drive both cars for comparison’s sake.

Right away, I noticed that the Chrysler 300 is a longer, wider car. Even though it seats five, just like the Cadillac, there seems to be a lot more leg room in the Chrysler. If you’re planning on having passengers in your back seat on a regular basis, that extra space will likely have a big impact on your final auto-buying decision.

Similarly, the 300 has more cargo space as well. The trunk is spacious and ready to accommodate a full haul from the grocery store, all kinds of sporting equipment, luggage for a long vacation, or whatever else you might need on the road. The CTS has space, but not nearly as much.

As far as fuel economy is concerned, the expected MPG is about equal despite size differences. The Chrysler gets 14-19mpg in the city and 23-31 on the highway. The Cadillac gets 16-18 and 26-27 respectively.

The CTS does have a longer and more comprehensive warranty, but the 300 still has the solid 3 year/36,000 guarantee that most auto shoppers have come to expect. The Chrysler is also much less expensive, and of course, price isn’t something you can just ignore when thinking about a new car. Whether you’re buying it outright or making monthly payments, you want to make sure that your vehicle suits your budget as well as your style.

Of course, you can open up your selection to other makes and models, too. With both of these cars sitting approximately two months on the lot before they sell, you have time to think things over carefully and make the right decision for your new vehicle.

Take a Few Laps In a Cadillac Race Car

By Vinny O'Hare 1 Comment

If you are like me you like racing. Here is what it looks like to take a few laps around the wet race track in the Cadillac CTS-V race car.

I find it fascinating that they can maintain that speed in the rain.
