I have been planning on taking a trip across the country. Eventually I think we will be driving back to New York from Phoenix once the house is lifted. I stumbled across this fun graphic I thought I would share. It explains the roads a little and what you should have in your car when driving a long trip. Is there anything missing? On Sunday I attended the East Coast Car Association car show for Toys for Tots in Forest Park Queens. There were a lot of Cadillacs and I will probably have to make a second post with all the pictures. One of the pictures of a black Cadillac with the white reflection I took has gone viral on social media and you will see why as it is pretty cool. I hope you share it also.
This past week has been the largest surge in members we have seen in a while. In case you didn’t know our email list is over 35,000 and we have members on every continent. I love watching the stats minutes after sending out a newsletter and seeing people all over the world opening it.
For the first time it looks like we are going to have official t-shirts for the club. I have been working with a company and have a sample shirt that is pretty cool looking. I have to take a picture of it and figure out how I will be taking orders. With so many people on the list I am sure there will be some hiccups.
I love talking about new Cadillacs and this week Cadillac announced they are changing the name on the SRX and small Suv’s they will be making to the name XT. This follows last weeks announcement that all Cadillacs will be called CT and a number at the end. This will start with the CT6 they will be debuting at the NY Auto Show. I will be broadcasting live from the show and will be on the Caddyinfo.com weekly chat live. Should be lost of fun. I have been on the last couple of weeks with Bruce and the guys. Last week I had the pleasure of attending the Automotive High School car show in Williamsburg Brooklyn. It was the first time I attended the show and am I glad I went. Besides the Cadillacs there were a lot of other classic cars that were real beauties. There were about 10 classic Cadillacs in all at the show. Below is a little video I took of a 1954 Cadillac which you have seen on our site before. A 1983 Cadillac Seville which really shined very nicely in the sun. The 3rd Cadillac in the video is a 1966 convertible.
