Just wanted to catch up on a few member updates that I received over the last few weeks. The first one made me smile from Norm and Janette up in Ontario. “Beautiful day here in Ontario today and I backed the “Red Devil  (le)” out of the garage for a quick photo.    No Reindeer here—just lots of horses under the hood” Thanks Norm and Janette!

I HOPE THIS REPLY GETS TO YOU, THAT CUSTOM 49 IS SHARP AND THIS COMING FROM A GUY THAT IS A PURE FACTORY STOCK KIND OF GUY, I’VE HAD 15 CADILLAC’S OFF AN ON AS EVERY DAY DRIVERS, THE FIRST A 67 SEDAN DE VILLE, IN 70 I BOUGHT A 69 COUPE DEVILLE, THEN IN 71 ELDORADO COUPE, THEN 71 ELDORADO CONVERTIBLE, THEN IN THE FALL MY FIRST LINCOLN AS 72 MARK IV, LOVED THEM ALL

MY CURRENT CADILLAC IS A 1961 TRIPLE WHITE ELDORADO BIARRITZ CONVERTIBLE, WITH FACTORY BUCKET SEATS, IT TOOK TWO BEST OF SHOW TROPHIES THIS SEASON, BUT THE ONE I’M MOST PROUD OF IS A 6 1/2 FOOT BEST OF SHOW TROPHY, AT THE ALL GM CAR SHOW, AT THE UAW HEADQUARTERS IN MORRISVILLE PA. HOWEVER I’M LEGALLY BLIND AND CANNOT DRIVE THIS CLASSIC, BUT I HAVE A GREAT WIFE OF 38 YEARS, AND FRIENDS THAT WILL DRIVE ME TO LOCAL CAR SHOWS

I CAN NO LONGER TRAVEL TO LONG DISTANCE SHOWS DUE TO OTHER HEALTH ISSUES, BUT I DO OK FOR A 70 YEAR OLD CAR GUY

Cadillac Club Store

For years I have had a few links to things like part stores and places to get wax for your Cadillac but more and more Cadillac owners are asking me to find them things. With this in mind I will be making a store for everything Cadillac.  Lately when I get contacted by stores with Cadillac parts or merchandise I tell them I don’t sell to the club members. What I have figured out lately is I am doing our members a big dis-service. We have a large club and I can get discounts from these retailers and pass it on. Currently we get discounts from Rockauto. You can find the latest ones from them in our Cadillac parts forum. I gave them their own section on the forum and they give us discounts. It is a win-win

After getting numerous emails about Center caps I made a page for them. This cut down on the emails I get and they give me back 8% of whatever is purchased. While it isn’t breaking the bank it does help with paying for web hosting for the site. I just had to double up on that so any little bit helps. Expect to see the store pop up on the site over the next several weeks.
