I have been on a kick lately finding classic Cadillacs either for sale or up for auction. This one is one of the best I have found as it is a 1903 Cadillac. This car is in the best shape I have seen for an early Cadillac model. it has a 6.5 hp, 98.2 cu. in. horizontal single-cylinder engine, two-speed planetary transmission, solid front axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs, live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs and single chain drive, dual differential-mounted brakes. Wheelbase: 72″. It really is a beauty and I will be watching to see how much money it goes for.
1981 Cadillac Deville Restoration
Steve sent me an email a while ago and I must have missed it as he sent in some great pictures of his 1981 Cadillac DeVille being restored. It is finally back on the road and it is starting to look great.
You can see more pictures on Steve’s 1981 Cadillac Deville Page.
Capitol Cadillac Fall Car Show Fabulous Fleetwoods
I hope everyone is having a great Labor Day weekend! I just saw an event in the Baltimore -Washington DC area that I would like to attend. The Cadillac & LaSalle Club Potomac Region are having a gathering of Classic Cadillacs at Capitol Cadillac in Greenbelt Maryland on Sunday October 24th. They have two events a year and this fall meet up is featuring Fleetwoods.
Just taking a look around the site it looks like a great event, you can read more on the Cadillac & LaSalle Club Potamac Region website. I will have to look at my schedule and maybe hop on the Amtrak for the event. I love Fleetwoods, last year we had a beautiful 1957 Fleetwood featured on our site. Since then every time I think of Fleetwood’s now I think of that beauty. If you are in the area I suggest you take in the event it looks like a lot of fun. For directions and more details visit Capitol Cadillac of Maryland. I hope to see you there.
