Today I am sharing some more pictures from the Quad Auto Collection Show. This is a beautiful 1975 Cadillac in a very strange color for me. Can’t remember seeing a Bombay yellow paint job on a 75.
Classic Car Shows
Even though we are spread out all over the world I would like to list some car shows that you are planning to attend. Email me and let me know your car show details and I will list them here. Charity shows have first priority of course.
Cars Against Cancer Auto Show Brooklyn New York
Organized by Gilbert Rivera
3rd annual Cars Against Cancer is a car show I created to donate money for the Maimonides Breast Cancer Center 3 years ago. This year is very important to me, because my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer this past summer. It was found by the wonderful doctors at the Maimonides Breast Center. The surgery and Treatment was also done at Maimonides, they made the entire experience for her and my family so amazing. It was a difficult time for my family but they made us feel great. My mom is ok now and getting better she will be finishing her radiation treatments the week of the show. so I am asking all of my friends to please come out and help me raise money for the Cancer Center. Please help me show them my gratitude. I hope to see you all on October 25, 2015

Vinnie,
This was actually a popular color for this year Cadillac convertible. We have one for sale here in Connecticut with the same color combination but, not in as good condition as this one.
It is a beautiful automobile.

I don’t think I ever saw one before and needless to say under the fluorescent lights it really popped. I wonder how many convertibles were made with this color combo.

Vinny,
This is obviously a re-paint so maybe it is more striking than the original. It was a good job. More intriguing are the two chrome lamp monitor indicators on the top of the front fenders. Usually, they were painted to match the body. Also, on some of these Eldorados, the centers of the hub caps were color coordinated to match the car’s paint or painted black.
The white leather looks like it is in excellent condition. I think they are still $10,000.00 too high in their asking price considering the mileage, re-paint, and the fact that some of the plastic chrome trim is missing from around the vertical tail lamps. That was a common problem with these but, those pieces are available and should have been added, especially for what they are asking for this car.

You seem to know quite a lot of details about the options available on this vehicle, but the color-keyed wheelcovers I believe were dependent on the model. In other words this may be a sub-model which did not include color-keyed wheelcovers… I also wonder what’s up with the front seatbelts which are not fed properly through that plastic retainer on top of the headrests. They were a definite pain and those retainers always ended up broken you will probably remember.
Wayne Johnson says
Oh, the chrome wheel well moldings are missing too. Those are easily available too.
Wayne Johnson says
I misread the asking price. I got it mixed up with the mileage. That is a fair price for this car.

Very cool color. I’ve never seen an Eldorado painted that way before, I vaguely recall seeing a Deville 4dr hardtop in that color years ago. It’s rare.
