Cadillac Super Bowl Commercial

By Vinny O'Hare

If you are like me you can’t wait for the Super Bowl to watch the commercials. This year Cadillac will have a commercial for its new Cadillac ATS. You can wait for the big game or you can watch below.

The on-road performance of the 2013 Cadillac ATS compact luxury sedan will be the focus of a new advertising spot this Sunday during the U.S. television broadcast of Super Bowl XLVI.

The 30-second spot is available today on Cadillac’s official YouTube channel and Facebook page.

“The ad showcases what will make ATS a serious new challenger against the world’s best compact luxury cars,” said General Motors Global Chief Marketing Officer Joel Ewanick. “It’s an opportunity to reach a big audience with the message that Cadillac is expanding into new territory.”

The all-new ATS is Cadillac’s entry into the world’s most significant luxury car category. The straight pitch is a contrast to many Super Bowl ads, which use humor and other devices unrelated to the product being pitched.

“The car is the total focus of the ad, with actual testing footage of the ATS,” Ewanick said. “Competing head-to-head in an elite class requires authentic performance.”

The all-new 2013 ATS begins production this summer at the Lansing (Mich.) Grand River plant.

Nice. I think Cadillac has a hit with this car. The interior is awesome too.

Looks like a great car. Two questions:

If the ATS is competing against BMW what is the CTS competing against?

I thought Cadillac was going to bring out an X series. What is that.

I am new to this site-pardon my ignorance!

Cadillac XTS will not come out until next year and that will be the replacement for the DTS and STS. It is larger than the CTS. The ATS is smaller than the CTS. If you ask me I say the CTS has no competition but I am bias in my thinking.

i,ve heard that the lean & mean general motors,is working steadily at a 40 % market share.have you folks REALLY LOOKED at the products offered by gm today ? chevrolet looks to be doing pretty well, there rebuilding buick, gmc,is coming along nicely, and look at CADILLAC.if you,ll look closely at the PRODUCTS,cadillac is positioning themselves to take the throne,as king of the luxury car makers !! look at cadillac versus lincoln ? cadillac is LIGHT YEARS beyond lincoln.and the japense have fallen flat on there face after all the recalls !! and fron what i understand, the japense glory days are over !!
