1976 Cadillac elClasico

By Vinny O'Hare

So starting off this week we have 5 or 6 really cool Cadillacs. Yesterday I asked you to identify Tommie’s Cadillac. I was rather shocked when Bruce Jolsen almost guessed it.

The car is a 1976 Cadillac Coupe elClasico. According to Tommie there was only 100 made. I know I have never seen one before.

Here is a little video I put together for Tommie with all the pictures. I love the hood ornament and the headlight covers. I am sure you are going to ask so yes the spare tire cover is metal and not some plastic aftermarket type product.  If you want to see all the pictures head over to our 1976 Cadillac set on Flickr.

Tomorrows car will be one that was owned by a famous celebrity. He actually never took delivery of it as he passed before the car was ready. This actor is famous for his westerns! Can you guess who I am talking about? Here is a tip. He had a 4 letter nickname. Since the car was custom I can’t have you guessing what it is.

Tommie From Carfellas and His Cadillac

By Vinny O'Hare

I just came back from a car show to benefit Lupus that was put on by the Bow Wow Boys car club. This week we will have a newsletter for each one of the Cadillacs that were there as they were all sweet. They each deserve their day in the sun. Having 6 Cadillacs parked next to each other at a show is like gold for me. I think there was a total of 9 Cadillacs altogether.

I got to meet Tommie from Carfellas and Frank SR from Jerseylicious. While I am editing pictures I thought we would play a little “What is this Cadillac?” This is Tommie’s Cadillac and we are blocking just enough of it. More pictures and maybe a video tomorrow.

1974 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible at Cruise Night

By Vinny O'Hare

Once again I went to the local cruise night at Resorts world. This week besides the 55 Cadillac and the 1964 Cadillac there were a few new ones. There was a 1974 Cadillac Eldorado convertible that really stood out with the sun setting on it.

This beauty was parked next to a 1976 Coupe that was just as fine. I got to talking to the guys and they are from a local car club near me called the Bow Wow car club. Nice bunch of guys that didn’t mind a stranger taking pictures of their beautiful Cadillacs. I made a video of all the pictures from the two cars as they sat side by side.

I will probably make a few videos with the rest of the cars taken at the cruise night. Think I took about 200 pictures in all. You can find these car pictures here on our Flickr account.

Have to say I really enjoy going to the cruise night every Tuesday. After the show I head into the casino to get something to eat at the food court and drop a few dollars in the slot machines after and then head home and stay up until 3am editing pictures.  I usually upload them to Flickr and to our Facebook fan page. If you are on Facebook come by and like our page.
