1940 Cadillac Series 75 Brunn Towncar

Today we are featuring another Cadillac from The Quad Auto Collection show. This time it is a 1940 Cadillac Series 75 Brunn Towncar. When I first spotted this car from way down the room I said to myself that is a Cadillac. While I admit I am not an expert in 1940 era Cadillacs I knew from a far I would be taking a video of this beautiful car if it was a Cadillac or not. I get a kick out of the springs on the outside of the doors. Something you will never see on a Cadillac. I am sure it wouldn’t pass the initial drawing.

Today I am sharing some more pictures from the Quad Auto Collection Show. This is a beautiful 1975 Cadillac in a very strange color for me. Can’t remember seeing a Bombay yellow paint job on a 75.

Cars Against Cancer Auto Show Brooklyn New York

3rd annual Cars Against Cancer is a car show I created to donate money for the Maimonides Breast Cancer Center 3 years ago. This year is very important to me, because my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer this past summer. It was found by the wonderful doctors at the Maimonides Breast Center. The surgery and Treatment was also done at Maimonides, they made the entire experience for her and my family so amazing. It was a difficult time for my family but they made us feel great. My mom is ok now and getting better she will be finishing her radiation treatments the week of the show. so I am asking all of my friends to please come out and help me raise money for the Cancer Center. Please help me show them my gratitude. I hope to see you all on October 25, 2015

Cadillac Auto Collection At The Quad

This past week I have been taking in some great car shows. We traveled up to Las Vegas mainly for the Henderson Super Run show. It was so hot that I Debbie and I both got a little heat stroke. Our safety net was taking breaks inside the Eldorado casino. How funny is that!

Over the next couple of days I am going to bring you some amazing cars. I am going to try and do it in the order I took them so I won’t get confused. We spent 6 days in Vegas. In between going to the Auto Collection and the Quad we also went to Barrett-Jackson and then the Super run. Right now I am tired of taking car photos as you can imagine.

First up we have the Cadillacs from the Auto Collection at the Quad. Look at this beautiful 1957 Cadillac Eldorado.

Website Updates

I am sad to say that the website has lost a major source of revenue over the last month. While the website isn’t ever going to go away I have to find a new way to have the club support itself. We use to handle the bills around here by selling center caps. Recently the company has decided to close and that hurt us.

Another source of revenue came from ads by Google. When I redesigned the site I didn’t put the Google ads up as much as we had. To be honest they were starting to take away from the user experience and that is the last thing I wanted. While they are still on the main site this blog only has a few after the post.

I have one rule with the club and that is members will never have to pay dues to use the site. That is my one and only rule actually. Let me tell you what we are planning to do. Our site will very shortly have a store. Some of the stores you always visit online. Ebay, Amazon, Weather Tech to name a few. You will be able to support the club by clicking on the links on the store page before you make a purchase. The club will get a little commission on every sale. EBay will be a major part of it since that is a good place to find parts.

I get so many offers from auto parts, car insurance, auto transport, etc and they always want to give discounts to our members. I never wanted the revenue to take away from the content so putting the links mostly on their own page will help. EBay has been on the site for a while now. You may see the links on the side of this post and on the forum where I list all the Cadillac auctions.

Another thing I am going to do is have you guys contribute to the writing. For years I have been taking emails and posting them here. Now you are going to be able to tell your own story to other members. I will discuss more in the next email.
