In a short time we will be seeing the new Cadillac XTS on the streets and many of our Cadillac members not only have their classic Cadillac but they own a Cadillac as their daily driver. I didn’t think much about this until I talked to a few Cadillac owners at the NY Auto show. From what I have heard the new XTS is coming with an IPad so the owner can get use to using the Cadillac Cue system. Here is a brief overview!
Are you looking forward to having this in all Cadillacs? I think it is rather cool but I want to hear from some of you. Over the next 3 or 4 days I will be putting up some videos with more features.
Dave's Cadillac Art says
Should be in all GM products not just Cadillac.
I would love to have this toy in my old Suburban.
VinnyO says
I am sure in time it will be in all GM products.
Lifer says
Too much distraction, eyes off the road too long. With buttons, knobs, and switches you can manipulate by tactile feel while concentrating on the road. Cue is just unsafe.
VinnyO says
The thing is your eyes are on the road more because of the voice recognition system. If anything it is safer than having to find and turn knobs.

Vinny,
I think you know my feelings. I fully intend to hang on to my DTS and subsequent replacements in the form of used cars for as long as I can. I don’t own an “I” anything so making my car like an I-pod means nothing to me. My grandchildren will love ’em.
fyi: The Flower Car is back in service and I’m going to the Professional Car Society International Show in Daytona Beach next week. I’ll get pictures.
VinnyO says
I totally know your feelings Earle and I appreciate your point of view to the utmost degree as there are lots of others just like you that would rather have a Deville than an XTS. Heck I am one of those guys too lol.
I think that this stuff coming down the Cadillac pipe is rather cool. I am not an “I” type of guy either and love the old cool stuff. I have been fighting with myself every time I make a post about something new with the idea that I will lose readers who only drive vintage Cadillacs.
I am glad to hear about the flower car! Can’t wait to hear about the show. It is gonna be hot in Daytona.
