This has been a long time coming to our site but Paul has finished his dream car. We have made 11 pages featuring “Margies” journey from breakdown to being reborn. We have over 11 pages of pictures and although I didn’t make them fast enough we are now to the final unveiling. Paul has been very generous in sharing his story with us. I am very appreciative and so are our readers.
If you feel like it here are the pages from start to finish. You can start on page 1 of the 1959 Cadillac restoration page.
Thanks Paul for sharing with us, we are very appreciative you have made this year really enjoyable to be a Cadillac fan.

Now thats a real Pretty Cadillac that you have their Paul and your son Blair has.I bet he cant wait to get his license and drive it.. WOW the paint and interoior, wide white walls, all that work, its a real nice show car you and your son have their, beats Pauls Eldorado Barritz in Melsborne or Queston Halls white 59 Eldorado, its one nicest pretty restored Cadillacs I have seen yet.
I hope you and your son Blair gets many years of pleasure driving it to all the carshows in Australia.
I would love to do your ’59 Cadillac hand drawn and hand painted on 2 t-shirts and send them to you and your son to wear to all the carshows that you will travel too in Australia.
I need your address to ship them to you.
Fantastic car.

Yes Ken there is about 10 more pages I can make with Paul’s Cadillac with all the pictures but since he put it on the road this week I decided to show everyone what the finished Cadillac looked like. I will end up going back and doing more pages and placing them on the main site with the other 10 pages because it does take you on a journey.

How many times have we said or heard someone say, “I would like to be a fly on the wall of – – -“, well Paul, thank you for letting us all be flys on the wall and following your incredible journey and astounding accomplishment. The fact that it was also a family effort that you and your son shared make it all the more intriguing. Congratulations on a job well done and a beautiful example of an iconic automobile.

Hi again, Paul.. For some reason I don’t seem able to navigate my way onto the Forum, so I thought I’d ask you or (anyone else who reads this) for help. Ther gearbox of my ’56 Caddy has a little cooler/heat exchanger thing on the front of the gearbox under the car. It is linked to the radiator plumbing and is obviously meant to cool the transmission fluid. I thought I’d see if it was clear and found it jammed solid. Nothing clears it! Tried radiator cleaner, acid and wire. It is stuffed -literally! I must assume it’s been like that for years and wonder if it’s all that vital or whether to let sleeping dogs lie and not worry about it. If you, or anyone else knows what I should do, I’d really appreciate it if I could be e-mailed on yocknessmonster@yahoo.co.uk. I and the car will be most grateful! Cheers for now & all best to you! Brian.

Thanks for your comments Brian. Good luck with your 56, they are a great model and I hope you enjoy the finished product as much as I am!
