I get a lot of emails asking me when the next newsletter is coming out. I will be the first to admit that I have been slacking off lately, guess the warm weather has me outside more often. Another problem I get is the quality of the newsletter, well I shouldn’t say quality I should say what quality content should be in the newsletter. Our site is made up of classic Cadillac’s but I get a lot of newsletter sign ups coming from the late model pages.
I would like to think that owners of 1950’s Cadillac’s won’t mind that I include some stuff from the newer models and the newer owners won’t mind seeing pics and tips about a 1967 Cadillac. It is a fine line between the two and I battle with this every time I send out a newsletter. Often I will write up a newsletter and then scrap the whole thing because it focused too much on one genre. I think I have a solution though.
From now on I will send a few more newsletters then usual and include either both type of content or just focus on one genre. The newsletters will be a little shorter but I will send them more frequently. If the newer models are not your thing just take a glance over and delete. I appreciate your patience with this and I would love to hear feedback on it. Ok now on to whats new.
I was just on Edmund’s website and they have a nice article on the 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe. I am sure this car is going to be a big seller. After seeing the reaction of the people at the Cadillac’s at the New York auto show I have no doubt the sleek models Cadillac is coming out with are going to sell like hotcakes.
Cadillac is helping sales with their new maintenance policy for Cadillac’s bought in 2011. You can read more about it on Cadillac.com. I think this plan is genius and will help out when a new Cadillac buyer is on the fence with his/her buying decision.
I have become more active over on Twitter. I am meeting some really cool people that have awesome Cadillac websites. If you are on Twitter follow me @Caddychat, Follow Bruce @CaddyInfo and of course follow @Cadillac.
I have been seeing a lot of sign ups to our newsletter from readers looking for info on 1970’s Cadillac’s. I don’t know exactly why the sudden interest but my guess is their are a growing amount of them being restored. I am glad to see the recent activity and glad to help people find parts and stuff.
Thanks for being on our list, I really appreciate the time you spend reading “Our newsletter”.

Hey Michael, have you checked out U.S.A. Parts Supply. I have found some rare parts for my 63 Coupe de Ville there, and they have some carter parts. Hope this helps.
