2011 Cadillac CTS-V in Qatar

By Vinny O'Hare

I love when I get emails from people that are half way across the world. This week I got an email from Abdulla R. J . AL-Mohannadi who wanted everyone in the club to see his Cadillac. He owns a Cadillac CTS-V and it looks great.

1956 Cadillac Convertible

By Vinny O'Hare

I have been exchanging emails with Reg from Australia who has a sweet 1956 Cadillac that I am sure our members would love to see. Below is our emails and some pictures of this great Cadillac.

Sweet looking 1956 red Cadillac convertible.

Hi Vinny
I think I might qualify as one of your most distant members all the way from Perth Western Australia. The car below I brought from Lee Wolf of Vintage Motor Cars in Ohio, yes on the internet, sight unseen and a eight week wait. But it turned out to be exactly what Lee said it would be. They were so good to do business with and I felt safe and sure dealing with them every step of the way.

I was  surprised when contacted by the Cadillac Survivors Club that there are only 84 of the 1956 EBs on there list an 50 of them are located outside of America. Also did you know that Australians are importing over 11,000 classic cars from the US each year. Most common is the Mustang.

This is my first Cadillac and I love it so does everyone I pass along the way. From young children to old grandmars , bikies and everybody else. It is great to drive so smooth and quite. Just  great on a warm summers night with family and friends.
Keep up the great work and let me know if you would like a few more photos.

Hi Vinny
I have attached a few more photos not sure what size image you wanted so if you want full size just let me know. The car in the last photo is a 1935 Bentley Derby I drove this car from Beijing to Paris in the Peking to Paris Rally October 2010. This is what got me hooked on old cars, the trip was 10,000 miles and the old Bentley never missed a beat.
Not one breakdown in the whole trip.

This is the link to my Ten Thousand Miles In ten minutes video  on YouTube.

This is the chassis number for my car 5662009752 I can track it back to a RM Auction 13 March 2010. I would love to hear from anyone who knows anything about this cars history,

This sign is one that I shot while in Las Vegas back in January. I like it so I figure I would share it with other Cadillac Lovers!

Working on Second Cadillac Picture EBook

Not much happening this week so I started working on the second Cadillac EBook. So far I just have one car a 1911 Cadillac. I have to go in an re-size a few pictures. It should be ready in a week or so (I hope).

While doing research I found out that I could get an actual book made. My girlfriend Debbie is in the process of publishing her photography book and once I see the results I will combine the 2 EBooks and make it one bigger book that you can actually purchase. By the amount of emails I received I realize that our members would like a book that they can actually hold in their hands. That’s cool!

On Monday Our EBook will be free again. On Amazon they give me 5 free days to give it away every 90 days or so. This will be the last of the giveaway days. Go get the Cadillac book on Monday.

I have been receiving a lot of emails asking for a real book so that is what I have been doing lately.

Our new Cadillac club podcast is a huge hit. Even though it was only 9 minutes we have had over 1000 people listen to it. I am trying to arrange for some guest. I do it over Skype and if you don’t have that we can record over the phone. If you want to be a guest send me an email or leave a comment below. I am kind of a podcast expert as Debbie and I have a fee popular ones on websites and blogging. I am sure if you could talk on a phone we can record a podcast.

This week I heard from a lot of members looking for Cadillac parts. I have helped a lot of people this week in particular. Guess that is a good thing 🙂

Some things I need help with

Richard from PA.  Needs a new speedometer cable and bushings in the connection to the speedometer itself for his 1952 Cadillac sedan.

Larry needs a website to find Lambo doors, headrest tv’s and body kits for his 1996 Deville. I already helped him find replacement center caps.

If you know of a good place leave it in the comments.

This year I am planning on going to a lot more car shows. I had a good time with the guys at the East Coast car association last fall and I plan on becoming a regular at their events. If you are in the NYC area I suggest you check them out. Good bunch of guys that do a lot for charity, Car shows in Queens NY.
