Our friend Paul took a trip to remember across Route 66. No Margie his 1959 Cadillac Seville didn’t make the trip with him but his father did. Paul and his dad Joe made the trip in a Ford Fairlane. They started in Santa Monica and worked their way to Chicago. Once they were there they decided to drive to the East Coast.
Being in Arizona and traveling myself I have become quite fond of Route 66 and the quirky things that you see. While most of us can’t take a trip across Route 66 we can live it through Paul’s pictures.

Vinny,
These two retired gentlemen took the road trip of a lifetime going from east to west on Route 66 and they DID do it in a Cadillac. They were at last year’s CLC show in Quincy MA, I have an autographed copy. Great read. Route 66, The People-The Places-The Dream

Thanks Earle I was looking at that book as I was making the article and was going to link to it. I changed your link to a amazon link so the club makes $2 or so if someone purchases it using that link 🙂
