If you are looking to get a classic Cadillac then this is the auction for you. Garth Richards a collector in Nevada is auctioning off a few dozen Cadillacs that he collected over the years. He wants to find them good homes. With so many Cadillacs being auctioned at one time you are sure to get some good prices. There are over 40 Cadillacs in the collection that are up for auction.
This auction is in a few weeks so there is not much time to go see the cars before the auction. Looks like it will be a lot of fun. For more on the details see Vintage Cadillacs Auctions. If you are going to bid good luck to you. If I had the money I would buy them all. I will try to keep you updated on the actual sales numbers if I can find them.

Vote For Missy
Over the years Missy has helped me keep this site going. She is also one of the nicest people going. She is in this contest and I am trying to get her more votes. If you feel like doing me a favor just click on her page and click the yellow vote button. You can do it once a day until the contest is up. I would consider it a huge favor and thanks in advance.

Just a quick note to thank you for the heads up about the upcoming Cadillac parade in VT. I have sent in my official application and plan to attend. If all works out I’ll send you some pictures and a description of the event.

From the very beginning the Cadillac has been synonymous with those that want the finer things in life – and Cadillacs are fine automobiles.

I have two cadillacs, a 94 seville STS and a 75 Fleetwood Tallisman. I really don’t have time for them, anybody interested?

“Cadillac” got its name from the French founding family of the City of Detroit. Detroit is French for “The Narrows”. i.e., “de Troit” [de–trah], which was Anglicised to our modern-day pronunciation Detroit [dee–TROYT].
When studing in France, the name “Cadillac” does show up in vineyards, etc., and is pronounced [KAD–ee–akk]. In French, “ill” is NOT pronounced as “ill”, e.g., “sick”, but [EEE-UGH].
“Fleetwood” came from the Fleetwood Auto Body Works in Fleetwood PA (in Pennsylvania Dutch Country of Berks County near me). GM eventually moved this plant to Michigan decades ago.
“Sedan de Ville” is short for the original “Sedenca de Ville”, or Town Sedan.
“Calais” [kal–EHH] is taken from the French city of Calais to rename the Series Sixty-Two Models in the mid-1960s.
Looking forward to another turnpike cruiser that can easily handle five or six passengers (and their luggage) in comfort as I remember from years ago . . . .
