This beauty of a Cadillac was used by Marilyn Monroe, Janet Leigh, and Bing Crosby just to name a few. I probably have over 100 pictures of this car that have never made it on to the site. This Classic Cadillac has been at the Auto Collection show in Las Vegas for a few years now.
Yes the Cadillac is for sale.

WOW! I wish I had the $75,000.00 and it would be in my driveway.
Marilyn Monroe is a distand cousin of mine through the Baker line of the family. She is, as am I, a Mayflower descendant through the Alden family line.
It is strange that Henry Martyn Leland is also in my family tree at cousin number 6. I LOVE it though.

That is so cool. I have never seen the movie “Bus Stop” but that is the film they said this car was used by Marilyn. I have to make a page with all the pictures I have of this car. I was amazed that I didn’t have a page made for this car since I have seen it about 5 times now.

Vinnie,
I saw the movie but, sadly, it wasn’t one of her best. I don’t know why she was cast is such films in the first place. I hated the one where she was stuck with that man in the New York appartment too and especially the one where she tortures the little girl while babysitting her. She was a sex symbol. Her movies should have reflected that. Sexy comedies should have been her gendre. No wonder she (or the Kennedys) killed herself. I would have too.
The Cadillac here is AWESOME though.

Yikes! I just wanted to make it clear that I didn’t mean that I would have killed her if I were a Kennedy. I would have killed myself if I were her and had those roles thrown at me.
I don’t want any Monroe fans throwing rocks at mt Cadillac. LOL

Oh brings back memories. I too had a 1954 Caddy, named Big Bertha. Lovely dark green with the same type of upholstry as this one. I was in high school from 1961 to 1965. Then my dad got me a 1957 pink and white Caddy that I used while at college. It was similar to the one Elvis got for his mom. I loved my caddy days.
I was a flaming redhead in those days so both colors went well with my hair color. Everybody knew they were Donna’s cars.
