We have some exciting stuff happening over on the forum lately. We have a 1961 Cadillac up for sale by Kyle up in Michigan. She sure looks like a beauty. All the info is below.
For Sale: 1961 Cadillac Deville – Lake Orion, MIUp for sale is a great example of a 1961 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. To start, this is an all original 1961 Deville with just over 56,000 original miles on it. Comes standard with the 390cid V8 package that is accompanied by the Hydraglide 3spd transmission, A/C, AM radio, leather/cloth interior matching the body paint (gold/white), wide white wall tires, and power everything. The entire interior was redone as of last summer and looks like brand new. It also has like new tires, new battery, water pump, cooling fan and fan clutch, air filter, and all of the fluids were flushed just this Spring (oil change, coolant flush, transmission flush). I also just recently had the transmission gone through and adjusted as well as the carburetor cleaned and throttle return spring replaced. All the chrome is in great shape with no pitting or blemishes. Paint is in great condition except for a couple very small imperfections in the left front fender (shown in pictures). No rust on the body or underside of this car. It has only had two owners before me dating all the way back to 1961 and was always garage kept and winterized every year. It runs and drives beautifully with no issues and is a great cruiser with plenty of power. I have folders of paperwork including maintenance records, window sticker, etc. as well as extra parts such as air filters, bulbs, and color-matching paint that will all be included with the car. All in all this car is ready to be driven daily with no issues and would be a great addition to anyone’s collection. I live in Lake Orion, MI and I am asking $9,500 obo. Feel free to call, text, or email me with any questions or for additional information. Thanks, Kyle (248)840-9482 Our good friends at RockAuto have provided a new coupon code for our members. If you are a long time member of the club you know about the struggle I face when I send out a newsletter. There seems to be two groups of Cadillac owners and fans and it is the hardest thing I face with running the group.
When I send a newsletter and it only has classic Cadillacs in it I get hate mail from members that want only to see newer Cadillacs. It is the same way when I put a newsletter out that only has pictures of new Cadillacs. To be honest it bothers me to no end.
While nothing is going to change on this site, In the next newsletter you will hear all about it.

Vinny: Don’t let the nay sayers get to you. I recall back in High School that there was a group that was always critical of those who were active in school activities. They never contributed anything but criticism.
I am now 86 years old ( own ’75 and 2003 Cadillacs). There is the same choir who criticize what community leaders try to do for the good of all.
Keep up the good work. The world of Cadillac spans a hundred years there is plenty of news to report.
Sincerely and probably a Charter Member of the Club.

Thanks Randy
I appreciate your kind words and you are right about nay sayers. When you work hard and have it criticized by strangers it is a tough pill to swallow. I have been dealing with it for so long I have developed a deep skin.
Our club is great and I appreciate you being here since the beginning. Trust me when I say nothing is going to change on this site. 🙂

Vinny.
Don’t change a thing.
You mix new and old just fine. As you
know, I own an ’83, ’84, and ’07.

Thanks Joe
I am in Arizona now. We are renting in Queen Creek and I am only going back to NYC to deal with paperwork and stuff. The house is 99% rebuilt now. My mother is living there because her house was demolished by the storm.
I am changing something but this site and club will be exactly the same. I think you are going to like the plan I have.

Vinnie,
Don’t change a thing. The major reason we come on here is to see the classic Cadillacs. The mix of old and new is why we love the site. Keep up the good work and I am glad that your house is coming along fine. Best wishes from Connecticut. (I’m on my 7th Cadillac)

Great looking car. What size tires did you go with? I’m about to change the tires on my parents 61 sedan deville an I like the look of yours.
Thanks
