1949 Cadillac For Sale in Colorado

UPDATE: 3/5/2015 Larry has sent us an email telling me the car has been sold to a guy in Finland

Right after last weeks page featuring the 1956 Cadillac for sale I got an email from Larry who is looking to sell his 1949 Cadillac.

If someone is looking for a good project then this could be the car for you. According to Larry this car spent most of it life in Las Vegas and has never been restored so all the interior is no good. It still has factory paint a little surface rust form being Colorado the past 10 years before I purchased it, everything seem to be there, motor don’t turn over by hand,

I’m guessing everything will need rebuilt, or total restoration.

Cadillac Auction on our Forum

Cadillac : DeVille Base Sedan 4-Door 1998 Cadillac DeVille Base Sedan 4-Door 4.6L

Exterior: It has usual scratches you would expect on a car this age. There is a small dent on the driver side front of the hood (seen in pics). The bottoms of the doors and rocker panels are still in good condition. I have super size pictures in the ad, So they should give you and accurate condition of the car.Interior: has leather seating, seats are in average condition, could use some light cleaning, dash board has some warping near windshield.

Mechanical: Vehicle drives well. Will be due for tires soon. It has a charging system warning in the message center and has ABS light that comes on sometimes.

Long Drive in Short Amount of Time

When I first saw this I said to myself that this is one heck of a workout. Looking forward to seeing how much time it takes him to do the drive.

Something really cool happened this week. Most of you don’t know but my day job is working with websites to get them better in the search engines. A few weeks ago I changed some things on the site to try to get the site to do better for the term “Picture of Cadillac”.

I was surprised when I looked at the search term the other day and noticed Pauls 1959 Cadillac as the very first picture. His “Margie” is being seen by people all over the world. Pretty cool stuff.
