It is 11:30 on a Sunday night and I am watching a rerun of Chasing Classic Cars on the Velocity channel. They are getting ready to show a 1931 Cadillac V12 Sedan. I went to YouTube and found the video so everyone can enjoy what I am watching as I write this.
I am also starting to enjoy the “Hard parts the Bronx” on the Speed Channel. It makes me wonder what is your favorite car show. Leave your favorite show in the comments.

When I was doing local car shows here in Southern Ontario Canada, my favorite car show was The WEaterdaown Car Show in Waterdown,Ontario, Canada. It started in 1967-68 ( I was maybe 16 and stole my moms bright Orange Javelin with a 343 cubic inch engine) at a small trailer park called Lawson Park on the 8th concession just out of the small hamlet of Waterdaown( at that time, its huge now,the town that is) and was moved top the Waterdown Memorial Park in or about Spring of 1970. They ( Harold Watson and some friends and family members) put on the Spring meet and Fall meet ( carshow and swapmeet), was held anually up to now. I have several 1000 pictures of every carshow and swapmeet that I attended in Waterdown from the first one in Lawson Park till the 38th year,( all in albums of each year, Spring and Fall Meets) the last year that I attended this anual carshow and swap meet held twice a year.It was the 38th anual Fall meet, my legs gave out and I just could not do any more shows. I have all the dash placks oif every one that I attended up till the last one I did.It is still going and is usually held the weekend before or after Victoria day in the Spring ( May 26th-28th)or around those dates and around the 26th to 28th of Sept. each year. Like I said, I have around a 1000 pictures that I took over the 38 years of this fantastic show which would draw any wheres between 450 classic automobiles to over a 1000 at few times as the hobby of collecting and preserving, old cars became very popular up till now. Do to my legs having Poor Circxulation and I can hardly stand up any more, I sieze to do this show and many other car shows in Southern Ontario.I have hand drawn and hand painted almost ever car that attended these Car shows in Waterdown for the last 38 years.Thats about I woukd say I have painted over 10,000 T-shirts over this period of time. I have around 100 albums of most of the local popular carshows and swap meets of 40 years attended maybe totalling about 6,000 pictures of all the cars that I have seen and painted on T-shirts in the last 40 years and not one was ever a comback.
You can see my art work of many Cadillacs and LaSalles on the ” Cadillac Country Club Automotive Art Forum” that Vinny has created for such a purpose. I have posted over the last 6 to 8 months of various years of Cadillacs and LaSalles that I have done for this forum.
Other than actually drawing and painting Paul Oakleys ’59 Cadillac Sedan De Ville on some T-shirts for him and his son Blair. I would love to paint some of the members Cadillacs, any years from the teens to now if any member would like their
Cadillac or LaSalle Hand drawn and hand painted on a excellent Quality T-shirt. I paint them on mostly Guildan and Fruit of loom Ash grey or white t-shirts. My work is all art, all hand painted to match every detail and interior/exterior paint of any Cadillac in the world of Cadillac and LaSalle motorcar cars and classics. They will never wash out either and I have several Cadillac’s and LaSalles and other automotive makes on T- shirts that I have done for good friends cars and local customers, they still wear them after 10 to `12 years at carshows and cruse nights in Southern Ontario.
If any one would like to see my collection of photos that I have in my local car show albums feel free to email me and see about people come to see my collection of photos of all the carshows that I have been too in Southern Ontario, You will be amaized on my albums and the photos that I have taken in the last 40 years of local meets here in Southern Ontario Canada Meets.

At first I thought you meant Car Show, but now I think you mean favorite show on TV about cars – OK, guess I have to go with Wheeler Dealers, but I had to look the dollar/pound conversation rate to figure out their cost/profit statements. They are an odd couple, but the show seems to work.
VinnyO says
Yeah I did mean TV show but that is all good. I love what Dave wrote, some good info there.
Earle I don’t think I ever saw Wheelers dealers.
